Charles William Clack, Sr., age 77, of Lilburn, GA passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016. He was born in Chamblee, GA to the late Vernon and Alma Clack and grew up in the Pea Ridge Community. Charlie was a master carpenter and owned Clack Construction for many years serving Gwinnett and DeKalb Counties. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed vacations to Daytona Beach, FL. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Linda J. Clack; sons, Chuck Clack and wife Nancy of Grayson, GA; Ricky Clack of Lilburn, GA; grandsons, Will Clack, III of Grayson, GA and Brady Byrd of Grayson, GA; brother, Thomas Clack and wife, Kathy of Buford, GA and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 28, 2016at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Garden in Tucker, GA. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA, 770-277-4550. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Charles to the Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation, Attn: Cancer Research, 1755 North Brown Road Suite 100 Lawrenceville, GA 30046. Charles (papa) was a wonderful man. I along with my husband (Jace) have many fond memories with Charles. He always made me feel very special and I love him dearly. He will be missed greatly. We send thoughts and prayers to the family. Q-ball and Kimberly loved papa as well and are like the rest of us heart broken. God send comfort to you Linda, Chuck, Nancy, Ricky, Will and Brady. We love you!

I was blessed to have Charles in my life for over fifty years. He always
tell me Ronny if you ever need me you what to do. I will really miss him!

Thoughts and prayers are with the Clack family as they have lost a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle and friend….and know Charles over the last 35 years (at least) if ever you needed anything done he knew someone who could get it done and would help anyone out that asked for his help! RIP Mr. Charlie Clack
Charles Clack was a true friend. I met him when Chuck played quarterback for our Tucker Lions in 1981. He was so supportive even trying to intimidate the other team by trying to bet them that we could beat them. Through Chuck, I met the entire family and have considered myself fortunate to be a friend of the family ever since. I cannot remember Charlie saying a bad word about anybody. He was always optimistic up to the day he passed away. I will miss my friend.
