Words cannot express the sadness I feel about the loss of Bill. Such a fine gentleman and committed husband to his love Susanne. They were so devoted to one another and although it wasn’t long enough their love for for each other was so deep. See you in heaven my brother
Bill will be greatly missed. Bill’s life exhibited love for God and man. His love for Susanne was great and very evident. Their love and dedication to one another was a role model for marriage. May God be your comfort Susanne at this time of your loss.
Love you!

Susanne was with Billy every step of the way from diagnosis to death – what would Billy have done without her. He was a GOD FILLED servant for most of his life – my wife and I will miss him greatly!!
Bill Apple you will be greatly missed. Always there when called upon, always giving, always caring and always going the extra mile. A man of deep faith, steadfast and strong. Loving and kind and a wonderful husband to your dear Susanne. The love the two of you shared was an inspiration to us all.
I am going to miss your great hugs. ????
Bill was a person whom when you first met him, you wish you had known him a lot longer. He was a gentle soul who cared deeply about his family, his work and his God. I spent lots of quality time with him at Brookwood Baptist church. Dr Phil, our pastor, asked us deacons to find some man in the church and mentor them in Christian faith. I selected Bill. We spent an hour every Sunday morning for a year, meeting and discussing scripture and our personal situation. I must say that I benefited more from this relationship than did Bill. He inspired me and helped me through a tough situation. I know that the Angels in Heaven are celebrating his arrival there. He was a gentle soul who loved his wife and family. I truly miss my friend.

Most of Bill’s cousins in Greensboro will not be able to attend his Memorial services on Wednesday, but we send our love and prayers to his family. He was a very special man with a soft comforting voice who would be the first to remind us he is well with his heavenly Father. We will miss him.
It was a privilege to know and love our Bill (Blapple) for these past few years. He was a gentle, kind, gracious man; funny, interested, and absolutely charming, wholly committed to our Lord. I’ve so enjoyed getting to know Paula and Michelle. Mostly, I’ve loved his loving my mom. Thank you for taking care of her, Blapple. You will be sorely missed, but we will see you again.

It was so thrilling when Bill & Susanne found each other & he moved into our neighborhood. He was such a kind & friendly man & we always loved it when he walked past our house walking Bates. He always had a big smile & a hello for us. Such a special man with a great love for his sweet Susanne. I treasure the times I got to visit him when he was ill. He held his hands out to me & it was such an honor to share a few words & a prayer with him. His love for God was very evident. He will always be remembered as a wonderful man.
Bill was a fine fellow, I lost touch with him after graduating from Greensboro Senior High but I always remember his friendliness and big smile. My condolences to all his loved ones.

Suzanne, I heard about your husband’s death, and I am praying for you. We’ve lost touch, and I didn’t realize you had married again. In reading about Bill, I see that he was a wonderful man of God. It was odd that I thought of you the other day (before I heard) and wondered how you were! I pray that the Lord comforts you as only He can.
Love,
Joy Smith
