Father, You are the one who is with us in our grief. You say, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” Father, comfort my friend and her family, be with her. Give her new knowledge of Your unfailing love and everlasting peace. Come and meet them, where they are, dear Father, hold their hand and embrace Your brokenhearted children. Save their crushed spirit, Father. They need You now. In Jesus name. Amen.
