Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Bob, you will be a friend of mine forever. You were a great shining star on Smokemist Trace and I will forever be glad that I knew you and called you ‘my friend’. Go with God and I’ll see you again some day. It is not good bye, it is I’ll “See you later.”

  2. Robert was a good friend. We served together at Fort Meade Maryland. Many fond memories serving with him. My condolences to the family.

  3. I’m so sorry that many of us who attended Murphy High School with Bobby are just now hearing about his passing. Bobby was a good friend back then. We played on the baseball team together. I will never forget the absolute joy on his face as he rounded the bases after hitting a home run one day. I remember his smile and his laugh. Please forgive us for not responding when he passed. I hope enough time has passed that the family is remembering all the good memories. Bobby is mentioned in the book I wrote about our high school coach: THE MAN IN THE DUGOUT- THE STORY OF JULIAN MOCK.

  4. I was a classmate of Bobby’s at Murphy and in the same Explorer Scout Post in Kirkwood. Our scout hut was just off the East side of Bessie Brannon park. As scouts one summer we floated down the Chattahoochee river on rafts made from wing tanks off fighter jets! We also bowled in a league as Explorers, and we ushered Ga Tech football games! Great memories of our teen years! Bobby was a true friend. May he rest in peace!
