Born in: Portsmouth, VA
Resided in: Lawrenceville, GA

Stephen Patrick Lucas, age 59, of Lawrenceville, GA, went home to be with the Lord on
Tuesday, March 25, 2025 after a long illness.

Steve is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Debbie Lucas; his daughters, Lauren and
Robyn Lucas; his mother, Carole Lucas; and his sister, Kim Lucas.

Born in Portsmouth, VA, Steve spent his teenage years in Georgia and graduated from
Norcross High School and Mercer University in Macon, GA. He was a long-time member of
McKendree United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville.

Steve most enjoyed spending time with his close-knit family and his friends. He loved
gaming, playing bridge, attending concerts, and watching movies. His quick wit, humor, and
incredible memory always kept everyone on their toes, often laughing and reminiscing about
the times they spent together.

A service of celebration will be planned this fall.

  6. CandleImageSteve, thank for our memories: Desert Moon, Life is a long song, It is just a Grand Illusion and many more sounds that played during our dueling type writing papers. We never figured why the fire was so big to Gus. We never were able to determine where Ritchie placed missing shoes. I regret that we lost touch over the last thirty years. You were a true friend. My deepest sympathies to your family.

  7. My deepest and sincere condolences to the Lucas Family. May God bring you peace and bring you comfort. I am sending prayers to all your family.

  8. Kim, thinking of you and your family as you celebrate the life of your brother. My thoughts and prayers to you.
