In Loving Memory of Chanla Sayamoungkhounm
August 3, 1953 – April 13, 2025
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Chanla Sayamoungkhounm, who left us on April 13, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on August 3, 1953, Chanla was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a source of light to all who knew her. She is survived by her beloved husband, Khamphao, and her cherished son, Jimmy.
Chanla found immense joy in caring for her garden – a vibrant sanctuary that reflected her warmth, patience, and nurturing spirit. She had a special passion for growing the spiciest peppers, tending to each plant with the same care and love she showed her family. Her green thumb was unmatched, and her garden was not just a pastime – it was a part of who she was.
The fruits of her labor often made their way into home cooked meals, bringing family and friends together in love and laughter. Chanla’s generosity, gentle soul, and appreciation for life’s simple pleasures will be remembered by all who had the honor of knowing her.
Though she is no longer with us in body, Chanla’s spirit lives on in the lives she touched, the love she gave so freely, and the beautiful memories she leaves behind. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her love will forever remain in our hearts.
Rest peacefully, Chanla. Your memory is a blessing, and your love will never be forgotten.
