Known as Momma, Mom and Nanny Peg to those who loved her, passed into the kingdom of heaven surrounded by her loving family Friday April 25th, 2025.

Born and raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia she attended Stone Mountain Highschool, and was lifelong friends with many of her schoolmates. They continued meeting in Stone Mountain for many years, enjoying a lifetime of joy and fellowship.

Peggy met no stranger, and was loved by all who knew her. She was a devoted christian, and found great joy in the fellowship she found in her church, Smyrna Presbyterian in Conyers, Georgia. She was known as an amazing cook, and her dishes were always anticipated. Whatever Peggy brought was always the star. She loved hosting holidays surrounded by her family, and cherished every moment with her children and grandchildren. Thanksgiving, Easter and Christmas were always a celebration, and will never be the same without her.

Never one to be bored, Peggy was deeply involved in church activities. She added new interests to her life frequently; Quilting, Sewing, Cooking, Traveling with her husband around the world, always looking for new things to learn and do. Pottery, painting, stained glass, canning, gardening and were just a few.

Her parents were from Ellaville, Georgia, and Peggy held her many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins close despite the distance. She made sure her children received the great inheritance of the southern traditions that she had loved in life. Her children grew up knowing the value of family, and made sure Ellaville was an important part of their youth.
