Grant and Mary-Drayton Godbee of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2020.
Grant is survived by his parents, David & Kim Godbee; brother, Blake Godbee; sister-in-law, Daniela Godbee; niece, Maya Godbee; nephew, Jax Godbee; sister, Taylor Robson; brother-in-law, Graham Robson; nephew, Arthur Robson; grandparents, Ann (GG) England, Robert & Barbara Godbee. Mary is survived by her parents, David & Susan Pence; sister, Anna Tanner; brother-in-law, Grafton Tanner; sister, Lily Pence; grandmother, Betsy Dodds; grandfather, James Worth Pence, Jr
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 12Stone Church- Lawrenceville Campus, 1322 Buford Drive Lawrenceville, GA 30043. Pastor Reed Moore will officiate. It is mandatory that masks are worn during the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to FRVR FREEs non-profit, The 501 Exchange Co. where Grant and Mary-Drayton spent endless hours and energy serving wholeheartedly. FRVR FREE exists to love God, receive His freedom, and give it away through worship gatherings and discipleship in the greater Atlanta area. Mary Drayton was a wonderful person to work with — talented, genuine, and hard-working. I am thankful that I had the chance to get to know her and am sorry to learn of this loss. My deepest sympathies go out to both families and all of their friends.

Wow there are no words that can make this not hurt! We can only be comforted in the knowledge that they are in the arms of Jesus and that we will one day see them again. Our hearts are grieved for your immense loss!
Mary Drayton was a wonderful blessing to our family. She babysat our son, Isaac and he adored her. We were so warmed by her generous heart, artistic talent, and beautiful spirit. Our prayers are with your family as we grieve deeply for and with you.
