  18. Dear Nancy and Family,
It is said that no one ever dies as long as someone remembers. Royce will live in our memories. Ours start in 1979 when the 4 of us met in Lamaze class. At the same time, Royce had been assigned to audit the National Kidney Foundation chapter where I was Executive Director. What a coincidence. Upon the birth of our children, we became fast friends. We went to UGA and Tech football games. Always stopping at the Varsity where Nancy would wipe the grease off each fry before she’d eat it. We enjoyed childrens birthdays and holidays and were good friends. We will miss Royce but always remember him as a great guy. Despite the distance and time between us, we will always remain your friends.

  19. Dear Nancy,

Royce and I were classmates at JU. While we didn’t stay in close touch, but I did follow his career. I’ve always admired Royce’s integrity and intelligence. I wanted to pass along my sincere condolences at his passing. I will always remember his positive attitude and how he was the epitome of a “southern gentleman”. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
